On Monday we got to go to a special early screening of the new Space Jam: A New Legacy. This was the very first time my kids had been to the movie theater! I made them some basketball shirts to get them in the mood.
These shirts are made with Kassa HTV pressed with my Easy Press. Make sure to prewash your shirts before applying HTV. The hoop shirt is a design on Cricut Design Space and the other’s are available in my SVG library and at the bottom of this post.
These two shirts are actually made with the same cut file! I removed the letters and orange circle for the onesie. Didn’t it turn out cute! This would also make an adorable maternity shirt!
The original Space Jam came out the year I was born. I know it was one we watched growing up, but I don’t remember it in detail. My cute husband is a few years older than me and his Space Jam memory was a lot better. Several times throughout the movie he turned to me and said, “That was just like in the first one.” It was nice because if you were familiar with the old one, it had some funny reminders of it, and if you weren’t, you weren’t missing any of the story line. The movie showcased not just the Looney Tunes but all of Warner Brothers (Yes, even Harry Potter!).
Space Jam: A New Legacy was kid friendly. The only swear word is the one featured in the commercial. There was fun music throughout and we were all jamming in our seats. The two-year-old did snuggle close into Daddy when they introduced the opposing team, but he did not cry or feel the need to leave.
We had such a great time seeing Space Jam: A New Legacy. Go see it for yourself in theaters starting July 16th! #spacejammovie We did receive free tickets to the show for promotional purposes.
