One of my most popular blog posts is Cricuting without Cricut Access. In this post I explain how I went for years without subscribing to Cricut Access and what I used instead. One of my favorite ways to get cut files is through LoveSVG.com! I have used them countless times, so imagine my excitement when they came to me asking for a partnership! I can’t wait to work with them! Any links that you so in this post are affiliate links, if you end up purchasing from my link, I make a small profit at no additional cost to you. I’ve got some awesome projects to share with you today and even a super awesome coupon code!
What is an SVG?
SVG stands for Scalable Vector Graphics. In other words, an image that is made up of layers and can be made any size without affecting the quality. These types of images are ideal when working with a cutting machine, but they can be printed as well!
What is so cool about LoveSVG?
LoveSVG is a site full of thousands of SVG images! It is a great all-in-one stop for your SVG needs. The images can be purchased individually, as a subscription, in bundles, or (this is crazy) FREE! In fact, LoveSVG has approximately 10,000 images that can be used free of charge! The free images are for personal use only but a commercial license can also be purchased. Last year, I did a couple of small boutiques and I had a blast, but I didn’t have a commercial LoveSVG license yet. I have one now and I can’t wait to add more variety to my next selling event. It doesn’t matter what homemade item you want to sell: shirts, baby onesies, tumblers, ornaments, etc. LoveSVG has images that work for anything! Don’t believe me? Here are a few links showing projects I have made in the past:
- Halloween and Christmas Decor
- Journal Covers
- Christmas Cards
- Holiday Shirts
- Bible Verse Signs
- Scrapbook Pages
One of my favorite thing about LoveSVG‘s designs is how easily they can be altered to get exactly what you want. For these winter pillows, I combined the Winter Wonderland, Let it Snow, and Snowflakes images. I wasn’t a huge fan of the polka dots on the original Winter Wonderland design so I erased those and added the Snowflakes instead. I was able to personalize my design in just a matter of seconds!
I also love to use LoveSVG‘s images for multiple uses. This cute Christmas Train is one of my favorites! I used the same train pattern to make a baby birth announcement onesie with the child’s name on the cars.
LoveSVG has tons of holiday and seasonal images, but they also have images that will work year-round! I recently got The Huge Exclusive Craft Bundle and I love the different variety of wreath and frames that it gives. I am constantly looking for good wreaths for various signs, shirts, and tumblers. I combined three images from this bundle to make this adorable baby onesie!
I also love all of the cute animals in The Huge Exclusive Craft Bundle. My almost two-year-old is working on learning the names of each animal so I made him some little ‘flash cards’ for us to play with together. I simply printed the images for these. No cutting machine necessary! I printed several other images from the bundle and ran them through my Xyron Creative Station to make some quick and adorable stickers!
I also want to take a quick moment to talk about the LoveSVG subscription plans. These plans are for crafters who need a commercial use license so they can sell their completed projects. When you subscribe to the plan, you get commercial access to all of the free images as well as other member exclusive images. You also receive discounts on bundles and fonts. Subscriptions can be purchased on a yearly or lifetime basis. If you have ever considered selling your handmade items, this is 100% the route I would suggest (and no, I’m not just saying that). No where else are you going to get such a wide variety of images for such an amazing price. And, LoveSVG is constantly adding new images to stay relevant with the trends. If you purchase a subscription you will continue to add to your SVG collection free of charge.
I love LoveSVG.com, but don’t just take my word for it! Go try it out! In fact, I’ve got a coupon code for you but hurry fast, it won’t last long! Use code WWTUYXBXNC for 15% off your order!
